Dartsch Scientific conducted a number of experiments to investigate the effects of the BICOM® bioresonance method at the cellular level. Positive effects were observed, demonstrating the beneficial effect of the BICOM optima® device on the cellular level. In the first experiment the effects of the BICOM® bioresonance method on wound healing and connective tissue fibroblasts was investigated. Cultured cells were treated with the BICOM optima® mobile device, and their resulting vitality compared with that of untreated cells. The results showed a significant improvement in overall cell vitality in the treated cells as well as faster cell migration and proliferation. Improved wound closure was also observed in cells treated with the BICOM optima® device. These observations highlight the beneficial effect of the BICOM optima® device on the cellular level and its positive impact on vitality and the regeneration/wound healing process of these cells. In the second experiment the effects of the BICOM® bioresonance method on cell metabolism and inflammation was investigated. Neutrophil cells were treated with the BICOM optima® mobile device over consecutive days, and their anti-inflammatory response measured, in comparison to untreated cells. A statistically significant reduction of basal cell metabolism and superoxide anion radical generation was observed. The results further highlight the positive effect of the BICOM optima® device at the cellular level and suggest that bioresonance intervention might be very useful in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory processes as a complement to conventional therapeutic approaches.
