I arrived at Sherwood at 9:30AM and found a Watco loaded Cattle train sitting on the main Up line at the end of platform 3. After two NGR down suburban trains and SMU 237 had passed, the Watco train set off for Dinmore. I waited for some other trains at Sherwood expecting the Watco train to return empty later in the day. Much later in the day, I heard a radio call that the locos on the cattle train were ready to run-around their train at Dinmore cattle siding, but they had arranged to drop off the second loco in the Corinda loop. As the other trains I was expecting at Sherwood had all passed, I moved up to Corinda and videoed the process of dropping off the loco(WRB 2181). During the process an Aurizon coal train also passed through Corinda. (00:00) Watco Cattle train at Sherwood platform 3 with WRB2181 and WRC2206 (01:27) WRC2206 and WRB2181 arrive back at Corinda (02:31) hand brakes are applied to empty cattle train (03:26) Locos detach from train and move forward to red signal (04:31) Locos move forward again (04:51) WRB2181 and WRC2206 uncouple and wait for points to change so 2181 can run into the loop. (05:34) WRB 2181 moves into the loop (06:23) WRC 2206 back up onto the empty cattle train (07:43) not sure what happened here, but obviously problem coupling 2206 to the rest of the train (09:03) Aurizon coal train passes on platform 1. (11:20) Now coupled to it's train, WRC 2206 pulls forward to a red signal (12:58) WRA2206 gets double yellow lights and white route lights to go.
