Synthetic Intelligence Forum is excited to convene a presentation about Advances in AI for Healthcare with Ewa J. Kleczyk, PhD, the Vice President of Advanced & Custom Analytics at Symphony Health. Title: Advances in AI for Healthcare Abstract: The objective of the presentation is to review the application of ML and AI in the healthcare industry. The presentation will start with a high level overview of the healthcare industry trends and the types of data available for analytics. Furthermore, it will review the current AI and ML trends and the use case of ML in the understanding of patient journey through the healthcare system. A brief review of Privacy Disclosure impact will be also presented and how it guides the analysis and research design. The presentation will conclude with a few comments about the future of healthcare industry and application of AI and ML. Biography: Ewa J. Kleczyk, PhD is an analytics leader with a proven record for establishing high performing analytics teams and delivering innovative analytics solutions to the healthcare industry. Currently, Dr. Kleczyk is a Vice President, leading the Advanced & Custom Analytics group at Symphony Health, an ICON plc Company. Her experience spans across data science and advanced analytics, health economics, outcomes research, digital & media analytics, as well as forecasting & promotional impact measurement. Dr. Kleczyk earned her PhD in Economics from Virginia Tech and has been an affiliated graduate faculty in the School of Economics at the University of Maine. She has published in multiple academic & industry journals and is a board member of several peer-reviewed publications, including the Pharmaceutical Marketing Sciences Association Journal.
