This video start by explaining how atoms are dislodged from the surface of a metal dipped a solution (1M) of metal ions which is above or below the original metal in the reactivity series. It proceeds and explains how this generates a potential diffference which becomes real when the half cell is connected to a hydrogen standard half cell, highlinging the roles played by salt bridge. It then winds by explaning how electricity is generated when two half cells of diferent metals.
