Recently Amsterdam City launched a digital video ad campaign targeting 18-35 years old men living in the U.K. and searching for cheap hotels in Amsterdam. The message of the digital ad is : if you re looking for a trouble here, then stay away! It seems Amsterdam’s message reached to the wrong target audience. Kingsday is one special day is that everyone in the Netherlands can act like a “Young Biritish stag party man” without feeling guilty and being criticized. It doesn’t matter how much you look like a British Stag Party Member, at the end of the day, you will be a just a happy drunk person celebrating your King’s birthday.. Dutch people celebrate their King's birthday with orange colors, from head to toe. You'll see people in orange hats, orange shirts, orange pants, orange shoes, you name it. It s also the best day to enjoy Amsterdam Canals as long as your rental boat has a toilet. It's like a giant street party where people set up their own music systems and bars.
