"Coral Isle" Part #1 by Black Cat Blues-Premium Hand Made Art Soap.

Techniques: Cold Process Soap Skin Medallions, Extruded CP Soap, Piped CP Soap, Cold Process Soap Clay (various techniques), CP Soap Swirl. Have i missed anything? Fragrance Oil: Cognac and Cubans (perfect pour). Originally had planned to use Bay Rum fragrance oil. However it turned a light yellow and accelerated a bit. Shall use it in another project. Lipids soaped at approx 95 Degrees. Lye solution at room temperature. I was looking for an easier piece after creating "Upstate Spring". This piece was easier, just time consuming. And i have time. The inspiration for this piece came from a little sketch i had made in February while recovering from a medical procedure. The fun of creating art for me is not having a total plan as i was taught years ago in art class. Today i approach a piece with a very small concept of the design. Th approach gives me freedom. I interact with the piece and it directs me to the places i need to go to bring it into existence. It is all about being present and in the moment. Much more fun than what i learned in art class. My hope is that my work encourages you to try new techniques. Just step out of the box and accept a challenge. I thank you all for your support and the many kind words you have given to me.
