An epic trip of 7 days on the road and 6 nights sleeping under the stars on my 2001 Harley Davidson Sportster XLH 883. Last day on the road, and time to cruise the last stretch home from Arizona to California. After a good night of rest cowboy camping on Route 66, and a quick coffee, I jumped on the hawg on this early Sunday ready to hit the road. The plan was simple, alternate the busy boring Interstate with some stretches of the old historic Route 66, and make it home safe dodging as many big cities and bad drivers as possible. 389 miles and a few ice creams later, made it home safe.
