Which I never would have gathered from the PV. HAPPY DANCING LLAMAS, DAMNIT. As I was writing the translyrics, the song really started speaking to me and connecting with my life. It's interesting how lyrics do that, isn't it? Anyways, I really think this song is about having a friend with benefits, and wanting to be with them even though that wasn't the agreement. You see, it's as though the summer is when the narrator is in a relationship with someone else, and even though he's with someone else, he thinks of his FWB in the end and always ends up with him/her again. So when they are both cold and alone they have each other, like being each other's jackets in the winter. Or something cheesy and sad. So yes. I really hope you enjoy it!!
