http://thepowersite.co.uk/manufacture... Here we are removing the oil from a standard HY2000SEi using a typical oil and fuel extraction pump, which can be picked up fairly cheaply. It's not a standard giveaway with these machines but we do find that this little device is the easier (and cleanest) way of getting the oil out of the pump. Alternatively, you can put the generator on a raised surface, take the sump plug out and placing a cup underneath the generator, drain the oil out this way. We suggest if doing this to run the generator just before removing the oil.
