What are your top three deserted island essentials? So, if I were stranded on a completely deserted island, there are a few essential items I’d need to survive. I haven’t been camping in a "man vs. wild" kind of way, but based on what I know, here are the top three items I’d choose: A sharp knife – A sharp knife is essential for pretty much everything. You can use it for cutting food, building shelter, defending yourself, and many other survival tasks. A flashlight – In the dark, a flashlight is crucial for both visibility and protection. If you’re dealing with wild animals or any kind of dangerous creatures, the light will help scare them away. Plus, you need light to see, navigate, and perform basic tasks during the night. A compass – When you’re stranded, you need to know where you’re going. A compass can help you find your direction and orient yourself, especially if you’re trying to find a nearby community or help. It’s important because a map won’t be useful without the internet, and you won’t have internet access on a deserted island. The compass gives you a way to navigate. If you want to go beyond just the compass, you can also "read the sky" by memorizing star patterns or observing the sun’s position. For example, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, which helps you determine direction. These three tools are critical for survival in a deserted environment. But of course, surviving on a deserted island also means understanding how to adapt and make use of your surroundings. Artifact Episodes, a personal and reflective process undertaken by me. These episodes involve asking myself questions, recording the answers, and exploring my thoughts and feelings. I emphasize that this practice is for personal growth and self-awareness rather than for public sharing, comparing it to a diary. I have been engaging in this process since 2015, keeping it private to maintain authenticity and confidence in recording. The text also acknowledges the imperfection of my thoughts and information, recognizing that mistakes are a part of being human. The goal is to replicate the positive feelings experienced through this process on a YouTube channel, encouraging others to engage in similar introspection.
