This 1954 Fender Deluxe (5C3) is a very rare transitional model - one of the first to get upgraded noval preamp architecture. I've found a few broken solder joints, some factory tack soldered parts, a broken output jack and more! I'm going deeper this morning, tackling the recap. The next episode will be centered around initial power and tests, along with assessing the condition of the old tubes. Stay tuned! Frank Guitar amp repair, tube amp troaaubleshooting, and vintage tube amp restoration from a real working bench. Most of these videos are client updates that double as how-to style content, with real-time diagnostics, repair walkthroughs, and plain-language explanations of what actually failed and how it was fixed.
