As a Volkswagen Enthusiast, each year I like to go to our annual Volksfest. It's in Adelaide and a real thriller,. Therefore if your keen on Volkswagen's like I am check this short video out. It's an amateur attempt, but I would like to mention about the surprising amount of classic Volkswagen's we have in Adelaide alone. I personally own 4 VW Kombi's. So there's the first 4. Not to mention how many thousands more are in the remainder of the country. One great aspect of the classic aircooled Volkswagen/ including the water boxer, water cooled engine is that they are a reliable flat horizontally opposed engine: some of them reaching upto 500,000 km's ( if looked after) before a major engine re build. Personally I love the note and sound of these engines and anyone who says there useless: well that simply is NOT true.
