He gained worldwide recognition in 2017 after becoming the first person to free solo El Capitan in Yosemite, a feat documented in the Oscar-winning film "Free Solo". Honnold is also an environmental advocate and co-founder of the Honnold Foundation, which promotes solar energy for underserved communities. Equally impressive, Emily Harrington is a professional rock climber and alpinist known for her achievements in sport climbing, big wall climbing, and mountaineering. A former five-time U.S. national sport climbing champion, she has free-climbed El Capitan via the Golden Gate route and summited Mount Everest. Harrington is recognized for pushing boundaries across multiple climbing disciplines and for her role as a prominent female figure in the climbing community. Follow along as Alex and Emily help the crew determine whether boulders are good (GAS) or bad (ASS).
