In this episode I'll show you how to setup an IK Chain Link between two figures in DAZ Studio 4.12. Specifically, I have two characters holding hands, and I'm creating a handle that will let me move both hands at the same time. This is a new feature in DAZ Studio 4.12 and it's not available in 4.11 or lower. Previously, IK Chains could only be setup inside a rigged figure, but not between two arbitrary figures in the same scene. Also, this trick does not work between a rigged figure and a static (unrigged) object. I'm showing you a workaround with which to achieve this effect though. PS: Why am I saying "Eye Key" instead of "Eye Kay"? Beats me. I've only just noticed this oddity. Either way, enjoy! #DAZ #3D PPS: This tip comes courtesy of Brian Cramer, whose book FLICKER WORLD I've had the pleasure to narrate.
