Is your RadioMaster TX16S losing its time and date settings every time you power it off? 🕒 The fix is simpler than you think! In this video, I show you how to diagnose and replace the internal RTC (Real-Time Clock) battery. Step-by-Step Guide: 1. Diagnose: Check the System Menu. If the battery voltage is below 3.0V (mine was 0.6V!), it needs to be replaced. 2. Disassemble: Remove side covers, main battery, and external modules. 3. Open the Case: Remove the 6 screws (2 top, 4 back) and carefully disconnect the back cover wires. 4. Swap the Cell: Replace the CR1220 battery with a fresh one. 5. Reassemble: Connect the wires, screw the case back together, and reinstall covers. 6. Verify: Check the voltage in the menu again—it should now be above 3V!
