Walt Disney World | Travel Day -Tampa Airport & Animal Kingdom Lodge | October 2025 | The Disney Gee

In this first Vlog in our Walt Disney World series we fly to Tampa Airport from Heathrow London. We start off by eating a delicious breakfast at Giraffe and then look in a couple of shops before we board. We then have a nine hour flight to Tampa airport. Tampa airport is brand-new to us so we had a look at the shops and the giant flamingo! And then head to get our rental car from Hertz. We then drive an hour and 20 minutes to get to Walt Disney World and plan to eat at pop century for pizza. Pop century didn’t work out to plan so we headed to Disney Springs for blaze pizza instead. We then do a quick room tour at our resort which is at Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge and then after a 25 hour day we finally get to go to bed.
