The ambience of a single rundown and almost lifeless public park. A place once full of children is now full of echoes. Humanity is gradually fading away forever. The ambience helps me sleep. Half-Life 2 is still one of my all-time favorite games. It was about three years old by the time I found a used copy of the original Xbox console edition in the summer of 2007. I heard of the series for years and never played the first one at this time. I picked it up and started it on my Xbox 360 without any knowledge of what to expect and it blew me away.
