Featuring previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage from the making of Pate's Grammar School Sixth Form Entertainment, deleted scenes from Tom Cuthbert on Gangs, Gok Chan and the Lord of the Rings Sketch as well as an exclusive look at "Heists", a sketch that didn't make the final cut. "Heists" was intended to be a parody of classic heist caper movies such as the Italian Job and Reservoir Dogs (hence the sunglasses) where a team of hustlers (Me, Fred, Tristan, Alex, O'Leary and Xenia) attempt to steal a book from the library. It was essentially the product of yet another free period where me and Fred had nothing to do, and we just grabbed anyone else who had a free and started planning, which is the footage on show here. The sketch was going to end with us 'incepting' the book back into the library to the Inception WAAAAAAAAH music. Sadly, and somewhat unsurprisingly, they wouldn't let us film inside the library and the sketch was cut, although we did discuss hollowing out a book to conceal a hidden camera, but as always laziness won. That and the fact that if we wanted it to be in SFE they would find out eventually. Gok Chan was originally just a series of clips of Dan going to random things and saying "fabulous!" as we weren't entirely sure about how to actually structure the sketch and it seemed like a problem future me would be better equipped to deal with. In the end the finished and edited sketch turned out very different from what we originally imagined (fortunately), with only the huge minotaur dong making the final cut, but I decided to upload some of the funnier deleted scenes. The scenes we cut from the Lord of the Rings sketch were mostly due to the fact that we couldn't find anywhere to logically put them and for it to vaguely still make some sense, the Arwen scene being a particularly difficult cut as it was the only scene featuring Hannah Lucas, who had put up with a day's filming for what was essentially a cameo role. I think the only thing me and Duncan strongly disagreed about was the "Chickens of Isengard" scene. I was adamant that it was hilarious and had to be included, preferably as a final end-of-credits scene. I saw we disagreed, but I was fully aware my argument was ridiculous and that I was definitely in the wrong, and as a result he won. Coming soon: Acapella rehearsals, Go Compare outtakes and more Lord of the Rings footage! Plus, Jimbob rapping! Edited by Luke Rollason With thanks to Fred Derbyshire and Rosie Dickinson for their helpful feedback/cruel criticism
