With 6 videos leading up to this final result, I decided to do one long video describing the various stages of the project, to spare you the pain of having to see them all. The project started with a simple suggestion that I would consider designing a tube tester for the tubes that are most common in the German tube radios that I restore. That gained quite a body of support, and so I set off to try it. Here is the result after a few design changes, and with some options having clearly pleased some, while not all. This project is meant to be an ongoing prototype, so I am confident that it will be revisited in the future. This project is definitely not for beginners, so only embark on it if you are confident that you can do so safely. If you do, you are obviously doing so at your own risk. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The initial schematic showed Q3 as a BC547, but it is in fact a 2N3904. These two transistors have opposite pinouts, so be careful. The PCB is correct for the 2N3904.
