Walter Cummins is a perhaps undeservedly obscure singer from the 1920’s and 1930’s. He mostly sang with his brother Bernie’s band; and while that band achieved some success, it never became extremely popular. Cummins’ voice had a unique quality, a high very mellow tone unlike most of the singers of his day. Listen to the record and judge for yourself.
