Today, we're back in Ohio! If you had asked me at the beginning of the year if I thought I'd be traveling out here twice in the same year, I would have said "no way". However, circumstances just happened to align and I ended up visiting the Buckeye State back in April, and then again in July. Our very first stop of the July trip actually came about via viewer recommendation (shoutout to ‪@Soundcade-e7m‬) as we took a look at 7 Ranges Entertainment in Steubenville, just over the border from West Virginia. I hadn't heard of this spot before but man, am I ever glad that it got suggested. This place is amazingly huge. Like many other FECs and arcade chains, this is in a former Sears, and they've done everything they can to make this place stand out. This is one of my longer videos in a while and that's because there was just so much to do here! Over a hundred arcade games, bowling lanes, mini golf, axe throwing, cornhole, a full service restaurant with an outdoor patio, and more! Special thanks to the managers Mike and Rachel who I spoke with during our visit, and were super accomodating and more than happy to talk all about the history and future of this place. I loved the variety in games; it was a great mix between redemption classics, modern favorites, brand new arcade games, and some rarities you just don't see that frequently any more! Not to mention the trio of pins, all in great condition and running in 5 ball mode. It was a treat to be able to play on a Walking Dead LE, not to mention the rare Big Buck Hunter Pro pinball spinoff. If we had more time, I would have loved to try out the blacklight mini golf course which looked really cool as well. But all in all, we had an absolute blast during our time here (and the pizza from the restaurant hit the spot, too!). If you find yourself out in the southeast Ohio area, make sure you make the time and make the trip to visit 7 Ranges. You won't be disappointed!
