The Autonomous Kanata North Smart Shuttle operates on a 4.5 km, 8-stop loop through Canada’s largest technology park—offering a first-of-its-kind look at autonomous, accessible, and sustainable transportation in action. This all-season pilot introduces a medium-speed autonomous shuttle operating on public roads until January 31, 2026. It will be tested in real Canadian conditions, including snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. Following validation at Area X.O, the shuttle is now running on a real-world route in Kanata North to explore safe, sustainable, last-mile mobility.
