BREAKING: 2012 Pune Blast Accused Aslam Sheikh Shot Dead By Unidentified Assailant In Ahilyanagar Aslam Shabbir Shaikh, also known as Bunti Jahagirdar (52), a suspect in the 2012 Jangli Maharaj Road serial bomb blasts in Pune, was fatally shot in Shrirampur, Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra, on Wednesday afternoon. A Shrirampur resident from Ward No. 2, who was out on bail, Jahagirdar had just left a crematorium after a ritual on his two-wheeler around 2:15 PM when unknown attackers fired at him using two pistols. He sustained gunshot wounds, fell at the scene, and the gunmen escaped on a bike. Police arrived promptly, rushing him first to Sakhar Kamgar Hospital and then to a private facility, where he succumbed to injuries. Ahmednagar SP Somnath Gharge stated the killers remain at large, with initial evidence pointing to two shooters.
