La Quanik is an intermediate ski trail located at Mont-Sainte-Anne. The trail runs from the summit of the ski area down to the bottom of the North Side. The run begins to the skier's right of the top of the L'Express du Nord chairlift. The trail begins out mellow but quickly enters into a sustained pitch. Eventually, the trail mellows out and gently returns back towards the bottom of L'Express du Nord. Mont-Sainte-Anne is a ski resort located in Beaupré, Québec, Canada. The resort is located near the northern banks of the Saint Lawrence River on Québec Route 360, about a 35-minute drive northeast of Québec City, a 3-hour drive northeast of Montreal, and a 5-hour drive northeast of Ottawa, Ontario. The resort is known for its large vertical drop, its extensive trail network, and high snowfall totals. The ski area features skiing on both sides of the mountain with the South Side home to a variety of runs, including some of the most difficult runs in Eastern Canada which can be found near the Panorama Express chairlift, and the North Side featuring a series of shorter, mostly intermediate runs. The resort also offers an extensive night-skiing footprint, including the largest night-skiing vertical drop in Canada. The resort is owned by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, which also owns nearby Stoneham Mountain Resort, as well as multiple resorts in the western provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. The resort is a partner on the Epic Pass, with full pass holders only receiving 7 days across all of the company's resorts.
