In today’s video, I speak about the importance of remembering who our ultimate Source is - it can be easy to forget or assume that when we receive help from people or resources, they are our ultimate source. However, in Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us that God gives us the power to get wealth. This includes the strength to wake up and go to work, run the business, ideas being downloaded to make an impact in the community, creativity and many other opportunities we have to serve the masses. In this case; Abram was reminded not to take anything from the king of Sodom in reference to Genesis 14:22-23 that he made an oath not to take anything belonging to him lest he will claim that Sodom made Abram rich. We have to be very mindful, discerning and careful not to accept everything that may look good or sound nice to the ear. Before you say yes, do you have peace about it? Does it bring Glory to God? Does it make you proud or boastful? All these are key questions to consider. Study Genesis 14:1-24 for a deeper insight of revelation and let's discuss together in the comments section below.
