The 7th Annual Paupack Plunge helped raise needed funds for the Ledgedale and Tafton Pennsylvania Dive Teams. Both Lake Wallenpaupack dive teams were involved in several rescues due to fluctuations in weather causing uncertain ice conditions. This year over 130 plungers braved the frigid temperatures plunging into 34 degree water for a good cause and several did multiple plunges on behalf of friends that were unable to be there, raising even more donations. There were plungers of all ages and several dogs. The Pirate Group plunged in honor of a friend who had passed away and was an avid supporter of the dive teams. The Lighthouse Harbor is the organizer of the event and provides all of the support for the plunge. Join us for the 8th Annual Paupack Plunge in February of 2020!
