In this lesson we will learn the introduction and SwarGeet in the Raag Bhimpalasi. Raag Bhimpalasi belongs to Kafi Thaat and hence uses Komal Ga and Komal Ni. It is an Audav-Sampoorna Raag i.e. it has 5 notes in the ascending and 7 notes in the descending order. This is an afternoon Raag. It has Ma (Madhyam) as its Vadi Swar and Sa (Shadaj) as its Samvadi Swar. It is a very sweet and melodious raag. In this video we will also learn a SwarGeet (a song of notes or sargam) in Raag Bhimpalasi.
