This means: • Both USCIS and the Department of State will use the same standard for determining when a visa is available. • Families who filed Adjustment of Status applications before Aug 15, 2025 will still benefit from the Feb 14, 2023 policy. • The update affects family-sponsored, employment-based, and diversity visa cases.
