Sentiero in discesa (CAI 652, poi 685), attraversamento breve ponte costituito da 2 cavi, e visita alla appagante cascata Preafessa. Poco meno di 2km e si raggiunge all’attacco della ferrata Gerardo Sega. Le iniziali cenge che attraversano l’anfiteatro roccioso sono la parte più caratteristica, ed esposta, del tracciato. A 3/4 è presente il libro di vetta. L’ultima parte è arrampicabile. Una comoda carrareccia riporta al rifugio, passando per la chiesa Madonna della Neve, del ‘600 Distanza: 11,5 km (anello). Dislivello: circa 800 m, da 1.180 m a 649 m Livello: Sentiero EEA. La ferrata è semplice, ma esposta, e non tutte le cenge sono assicurate.
