In this video I explain legal blindness. People often misunderstand the term, confusing it with total blindness. Many people who meet the definition of legal blindness are unaware that there are low vision glasses that may help them see better. In the video I show a couple examples of telescopic glasses and describe how they help. There are many types of low vision glasses and by careful evaluation of a person's vision a low vision optometrist like me can determine which will be most helpful.
