Splash Mountain Closed at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, but why did it have to? We explore the history of Splash Mountain, The Song of The South production, and Joel Chandler Harris' writings to have a better understanding of the decision that the Walt Disney Company had to come to. In the end we end with reflection and a bit of a challenge. Splash Mountain was my favourite ride at Walt Disney World and I will miss it but I am excited about where the future brings.
