Cussy Nicodemo & Sossie Khatcherian Thank you @Rumkicks for being part of this amazing collaboration. Last summer we had to opportunity to play at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, UK. We knew our friends from Rumkicks were also playing. We planned a little surprised for the punks of Rebellion, and Rumkicks joined us on stage mid set to premiere, for the first time ever, our song “We are the girls”. It was a bit of challenge to organize, since bands aren’t supposed to bring people on stage during the festival, but it was so worth it. We surprised everyone with one of the headlining bands from the festival joining us to perform for their second time, just for this one song. Nobody knew we were doing this, we kept it a secret until the last minute and then gave one of the best performances we’ve ever done. Some parts of the performance are included in the videoclip as well. It was an amazing experience. When I was young I wanted to be brave But all you see is ugly in me I wanted to be strong I wanted to behave But all you see is the size of my clothes WE ARE THE GIRL !
