I took at my 12 foot tiny boat with a 2.5 hp Mercury 2 stroke outboard motor out for a first trip. Things went a little poorly at first and almost got out of hand as I tried for a Darwin Award. It was my first time running this engine on a boat and it showed! This little Mercury 2 stroke has no neutral/idle (where the prop isn't moving) so when you start it, it moves! ▶︎ See how this motor compares to an electric trolling motor!    • Small Outboard Motors - One of them is a b...   This little 12 ft V bottom boat is well suited for some exploring on the Magothy River here in Maryland. As I get more used to how this set up works and what changes I need to make I will take some more trips with this little boat. Not sure if it qualifies as a jon boat or tiny boat nation boat - but it's sure lots of fun to play around with.
