Harrisburg residents, business owners, civic leaders, and urban development experts come together to explore actionable strategies for shaping a vibrant and thriving city center. Tripp Muldrow, an economic development consultant and principal with Arnett Muldrow & Associates of Greenville, S.C., is the keynote speaker. He’s best known in central Pa. for lending his expertise in downtown revitalization, community branding and economic development to Lancaster City’s ongoing 30-year effort to re-energize its downtown, to great success. Muldrow will be joined at the event by Marshall W. Snively, president of the Lancaster City Alliance, a nonprofit organization that cultivates local partnerships to continue to drive economic development and other improvements in that city’s core business district. In addition, there will be a panel of Harrisburg stakeholders, as follows: Sheila Dow Ford, executive director of Impact Harrisburg. Bradley Jones, President and CEO of Harristown Development Corp. Gloria Merrick, PennLive Editorial Board member and executive director of the Latino Hispanic American Community Center (LHACC) of the Greater Harrisburg Region. Ryan Unger, president and CEO of Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC.
