2015 has felt like a changing of the tides for the UK’s urban music scene. Grime and UK rap are at a well-documented all-time high, with mainstream interest in London street culture peaking like it never seems to have before. But what about cities outside of the capital? While London’s scene thrives and grows, we want to explore the movements going on elsewhere, to shine a light on the lesser known torch bearers. These are rap’s roads. Episode 1 finds us in Bristol, home of incredible street art and a musically rich history. It's urban scene however doesn't seem to have been as impactful as it was in the 90's.
