The Sashiko Mask in Exhibition! (日本語版を準備しています。少々お待ち下さい。) The Sashiko Face Mask we made in 2020, during the chaotic pandemic with our children staying at home, is now at the exhibition, "Unmasking the Pandemic" in ROM - Royal Ontario Museum. 0:01 Introduction 1:14 Video from ROM With the actual mask, I contributed videos of me stitching the mask. ROM edited very nicely, and I would like to share with you. I cannot visit ROM now internationally. If you are close to ROM, please make a visit and let me know what the exhibition is like. I enjoyed some photos, and it looks fantastic. Sashiko became a famous word. Sashiko introduced in English is not wrong, but unfortunately not sufficient with filtering some of the cultural contexts. I am here to share the stories about Sashiko & Boro. Your support to pass down this hand-stitching culture is very much appreciated. ☆☆☆☆☆ Sashiko is probably more than what you know already. I have been sharing many Sashiko Stories on Instagram & Patreon & Here on Youtube. I would like to deliver the message to you.
