Leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) held a press meet at Telangana Bhavan, where party MLAs addressed key political and public issues, strongly criticizing the ruling government’s policies and performance. Senior BRS legislators, along with party representatives, participated in the media interaction and raised concerns over what they termed as governance failures by the state administration led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The MLAs accused the government of failing to deliver on its promises, particularly in areas such as farmer welfare, unemployment, and implementation of welfare schemes. During the press meet, BRS leaders alleged that several flagship schemes introduced during their tenure were either being diluted or discontinued. They expressed concern over delays in payments to farmers, irregularities in irrigation projects, and rising issues faced by various sections of society. The MLAs also questioned the government’s approach towards financial management, claiming that the state’s economic stability was being compromised due to what they described as poor planning and excessive borrowing. They demanded transparency in budget allocations and expenditure. Highlighting people’s grievances, the BRS leaders stated that voices from rural and urban areas alike were being ignored. They called upon the government to take immediate corrective measures and ensure that public welfare remains the top priority. The press meet concluded with a warning that the BRS would intensify its agitation both inside and outside the Assembly if the government fails to address the concerns raised. Party leaders reiterated their commitment to holding the government accountable and standing with the ప్రజలు (people) of Telangana.
