The CPC7000 Pneumatic High-Pressure Controller precisely controls pressure up to 10,000 psi. The Pneumatic High-Pressure Controller is available with up to three pressure transducers with accuracies of 0.01% of full scale, and an optional 0.01% IS-50 for transducers 6,000 psi and below. The system can be configured in 'auto range' or 'range hold' modes to automatically switch between transducers, or stay on one range during control. The CPC7000 has a control stability of 0.008% for the highest ranged transducer. To ensure operator safety, there is a burst disk at the supply source. When the front panel is open or in the event of a power failure, the instrument automatically vents, evacuating all internal pressure. Automation of the pneumatic high-pressure controller is achieved using the remote communication command set. Programs using standard Mensor or SCPI commands are used to remotely control the instrument and collect data. To supply the high pressure needed for operation of the CPC7000, an optional booster is available. Shop air is needed to drive the booster, and an inlet pressure of 300 to 3,000 psi clean dry air or nitrogen is required to generate the full-scale pressure. For calibrations up to 10,000 psi, the CPC7000 Pneumatic High-Pressure Controller is unmatched in quality and performance.
