Video Transcription I'm Dr. Peter Parten at Summit Orthopedics, and I specialize in shoulder surgery. I grew up in Minnesota, as did my wife. And so at first I kind of thought, I'm going to look all over the country and find a real fun place to go. And then my wife said, "Actually, we're going to Minnesota." So, when I came back to Minnesota, I looked around and Summit was by far the best group around. So I wanted to be a part of that. I think that probably the thing that gives me the most satisfaction is when somebody has something that's been difficult to diagnose, or they've been struggling with for a long time. And it maybe takes us a little bit of time to figure it out or sort through the details of what's going on, and we can actually figure out what is wrong and what can make them better. And that's satisfying to know that all the experience, and training, and education, and just listening to the patient can help you figure out what's going on and what can help them. I spend most of the time chasing my kids around. I'm the athletic trainer at the house, throwing batting practice and pitches and things like that for the home team.
