The other day my youngest daughter performed for the first time with a dance group on the stage of the Recreation Center. It was necessary to sew a fluffy skirt made of tulle, which I started sewing at the very last moment (the night before). In the end, an hour before the concert the skirt was ready. It is a tulle skirt with ruffles on a wide elastic band. The skirt has two layers (top and bottom skirt) + a double layer of ruffles on each skirt. It took about 2.5 m of tulle for the height of 122 cm and the width of 3 m. How to sew dress/skirt In the video the dimensions of the pattern are given for the growth of 122 cm. For other sizes, the length of the strips will remain 3 m, and the width of the strips depends on the desired length of the skirt itself (the desired length of the skirt I measured on my daughter).
