Welcome to our midweek ecumenical Lent service, hosted by Living Hope Lutheran Church in Saukville, Wisconsin. We hear message after message of scarcity. We’re told all kinds of ways we are lacking. We’re short on time and resources, we don’t have the resources we need. Often, those messages are accompanied by an invitation to buy something, but products don’t solve the problem. In this Lenten season, we’re exploring Scripture’s promise that God is ENOUGH. God provides what we need and more for life. Tonight's service focuses on the story of God providing manna for the Israelites as they wandered in the wilderness. Our Scripture readings are Psalm 145:14b-21 and Exodus 16:1-5, 11-21, 31, 35. Our midweek Lenten worship series is a cooperative effort of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, First Congregational Church, Christ the King Lutheran Church, Living Hope Lutheran Church, and Lighthouse Youth Ministry.
