Let's look at the best surf beach / town in Central America. EL TUNCO BEACH in San Salvador. In this video we walk around the town looking at places to stay, shop and eat and drink. We also look at the beach and the sea front. We find the town is small but has many shops, restaurants, bars and hostels / hotels. We visited in low season when it is more rainy and stormy. The beach is very stoney during the stormy season as the storms wash the sand off the beach. The waves are almost continuously offering great surfing with reliable breaks all along the coast area. The town has places renting boards and other surf gear. El Tunco is also a great place to relax and chill out. Many people plan on staying one or two days and end up staying a week or three. El Tunco is suitable for all ages and we saw a variety of people from many nationalities from all over the world.
