A sixth consecutive win to start the season is a new #WilmUWLax program record, as the Wildcats defeated D'Youville, 22-7, on a snowy Thursday afternoon at the WU Athletics Complex. The win moves the Wildcats to a perfect 6-0, surpassing the 2006 team that started the season with five straight wins. More milestones were surpassed in the game as well, as Alea Javorowsky became the 13th NCAA Division II student-athlete to surpass 200 career assists and Ella Royer became the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's all-time leading scorer, now with 309 career goals. Ella Royer finished with seven goals and three assists while Alea Javorowsky a goal and added six assists. Tristan Holdsworth scored four goals and dished out five assists, while Leah Rycroft scored four goals to go with two assists, three draws, and two ground balls. Caitlyn Welker led the defense with four ground balls while adding two caused turnovers, while both Mia Bucs and Eden Ward had three caused turnovers each. Allison Schiavone made seven saves in the first half to earn the win while Ashleigh Lawry slammed the door shut with three saves in the second half. Produced by Nathan Foltz
