Participants of the conference 'Materia medica on the move II' were invited to rediscover the lost artisanal knowledge of the early modern apothecary. They were encouraged to smell, taste and touch historical drug components. This video shows their reactions. The conference was the closing event of a four year research project called Time Capsule. The aim of the project was to make pharmaceutical and botanical cultural heritage digitally accessible and usable for research from various disciplines.
