Cholera declassified

Cholera is an infectious disease that leads to an individual having severe watery diarrhea. If untreated, this disease may lead to dehydration and even death. Cholera is contracted by consuming food or water that is contaminated by the bacterium known as vibrio cholerae. This video provides general information about cholera, outlines the mechanism of the cholera toxin and provides prevention and treatment strategies.
