The Nymphenburg Palace (west of Munich) is one of the largest royal palaces in Europe. The Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) is a magnificent neo-gothic building from the turn of the century (1867 – 1908), which architecturally dominates the north side of Munich's Marienplatz (Mary’s Square). The Glockenspiel in the tower balcony of the Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) is world famous. Church of the Holy Ghost is one of the nicest churches in Munich. The façade is built in a neo-baroque style. There are many nice rococo frescoes and nice stucco decorations in the interior. Church of St. Peter is one of Munich’s landmarks, the oldest parish church in the city, and its tower (92 meter) is known affectionately by the locals as Old Peter. A church has been standing on the Petersbergl since the 11th century; over the course of time it has been rebuilt and expanded several times. D Das Schloss Nymphenburg liegt im Westen Münchens im Stadtbezirk Neuhausen-Nymphenburg. Es bildet zusammen mit dem Schlosspark Nymphenburg und den kleinen Parkburgen eine Einheit. Es zählt zu den großen Königsschlössern Europas und ist heute eine vielbesuchte Sehenswürdigkeit. Das Neue Rathaus am Marienplatz in München es wurde von 1867 bis 1909 in drei Bauabschnitten durch Georg von Hauberrisser im neugotischen Stil erbaut. Das Glockenspiel im Neuen Rathaus ist ein Hauptanziehungspunkt für Touristen. Die katholische Pfarrkirche Heilig Geist gehört zu den ältesten erhaltenen Kirchengebäuden Münchens. Die Heilig Geist-Kirche wurde Ende des 14. Jahrhunderts erbaut (im gotischen Stil). Erst sehr viel später, im Jahr 1724 wurde die Kirche barockisiert durch J. G. Ettenhofer und die Gebrüder Asam. Die Pfarrkirche Sankt Peter, deren Turm (92 Meter) im Volksmund Alter Peter genannt wird und zu Münchens Wahrzeichen zählt, ist die älteste erwähnte Pfarrkirche Münchens. Die Kirche steht auf dem Petersbergl seit dem 11. Jahrhundert; im Laufe der Zeit wurde mehrmals umgebaut und erweitert. S Zámok Nymphenburg v západnej časti Mníchova (baroková architektúra) patrí k najväčším bývalým kráľovským palácom v Európe a v tomto bavorskom sídle sa v roku 1845 narodil aj kráľ Ludvík II. Neue Rathaus (Nová radnica) je veľkolepá neogotická stavba (1867 – 1908), ktorá architektonicky dominuje na severnej strane námestia – Marienplatz. Príťažlivou turistickou atrakciou je pohyblivá zvonkohra nachadzajúca sa vo veži balkóna Novej radnice (Neues Rathaus). Farský kostol Ducha svätého (Heilig Geist-Kirche) bol postavený na konci 14. storočia v gotickom štýle a prestavaný v barokovom štýle zač. 18. stor. (Ettenhofer, Viscardi, Asamovci). V interiéri sú nádherné rokokové fresky a štuková výzdoba. Kostol svätého Petra – najstarší farský kostol v Mníchove, s vežou (92 m) známou ako Starý Peter, je jednou z dominánt v centre Mníchova. Kostol sa tu nachádza od 11. storočia; v priebehu ďalších storočí bol niekoľkokrát prestavaný a rozšírený.
