The inaugural Dirtyland 2025 took place on September 21, 2025, setting a new milestone as the first gravel race ever held in Indonesia. Starting at Kopi Klotok BSD, the race brought riders across the rugged terrains of South Tangerang and the Bogor region. More than 200 riders took part in this groundbreaking event, which featured two categories: a 100 km gravel race and an open 60 km class. The 100 km course challenged over 100 riders with a distinctly Indonesian gravel experience, including rocky trails along the Cisadane River, sand mining area around Rumpin, and dense conservation forests in Bogor Regency. Not only local riders from Indonesia, Riders from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and several European countries joined in testing their endurance and skill. The race unfolded with unexpected intensity. The front pack reached checkpoints and water stations faster than anticipated, sparking constant lead changes, while some competitors went off course or faced technical problems. Dirtyland 2025 delivered more than just a race. It was a celebration of grit, community, and the rising gravel cycling movement in Indonesia, marking the beginning of what promises to be a long and exciting journey ahead. See you in Dirtyland 2026.
