With just over two weeks until Australians head to the polls, voters in Tasmania’s electorate of Bass have shared their thoughts on the upcoming federal election— and their impressions of the two major party leaders. Speaking to Sky News Australia, several voters offered candid takes on both Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Opposition Leader Peter Dutton. Asked to compare the two leaders, one voter said: “Well, Dutton, I wouldn’t give two hoots to.” Another voter, who described themselves as traditionally conservative, said they were reconsidering their usual voting pattern. “I’ve traditionally been a conservative voter, but I'm actually thinking maybe to look towards, I'm probably more aligned in some respects with Labor so we'll see how we go,” they said. “I think Albanese has improved his outlook a fair bit. Dutton is hard to connect to — but again, it just comes down to their policies.”
