This Tuesday marks the third anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution and the ousting of President Hosni Mubarak after 30 years in power. But ever since then the transition towards a more democratic Egypt has followed a very troubled path. In the immediate aftermath of the Revolution, power was at the hands of the Supreme Council of Armed Forces -- the military. Then came the turn of Egypt's very first democratically elected government, led by the Muslim Brotherhood. They were to be ousted last Summer -- the helm of the country firmly at the hands of the Army, once again. Politicians and influential people who were once part of President's Mubarak corrupted regime are now making a strong comeback in Egypt: they're referred to as "feloul" --the scraps, the remains... Meanwhile those who fought for a democratic Egypt, purged of its Mubarak-era elements, are growing increasingly disenchanted...
