Prof. Robert Ord is a surgeon par excellence who is the Chairman of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Maryland as well as the Greenbaum Cancer Institute, Suite 1402, 650, West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, the USA for nearly 2 decades. He is affectionately known as BOB to his friends. He is a true legend in his own right - a passionate teacher, vivid clinician, and researcher par excellence. He is due to retire shortly from Active Academics and on this occasion, I happen to provide a short video, as a mark of celebration of our great friendship over the past 3 decades. His passion is legendary and I am deeply honored to have him presiding over the Journal - Annals of Maxillofacial Surgery- His decades of experience are now our guiding force.
